The Job ID Status tool allows security teams to monitor the status of running jobs or retrieve results from completed jobs using a specific job ID. This utility is vital for tracking long-running tasks, such as scans or lookups, and ensuring timely access to critical data, enhancing operational efficiency.

Purpose and Use Case

Security teams often initiate resource-intensive queries (e.g., endpoint scans or historical data analysis) that may take time to process. The Job ID Status tool provides a way to check the progress of these jobs or retrieve finalized results, enabling seamless workflow management and quick response to emerging threats.

  1. Navigate to Advanced Query Builder > Utils Queries > Job ID Status.

  2. Select Simple Query or Advanced Query mode.

  3. Enter the job ID in the job_id field.

  4. Click Search to view the status or results.

Save Queries

Organizational users can save queries for future use or sharing.

  1. Specify query parameters.

  2. Click Save Query.

  3. Provide a Name and Description for context.

  4. Click Save. The query appears in Private Queries.
