    Article Summary

A subnet reputation score is a measure of the trustworthiness and reputation of a specific subnet or range of IP addresses within a larger network. Subnet reputational scores can serve as an early warning system, providing an indication of potential threats before they are able to cause damage.

By using subnet reputational scores, security teams use their resources more efficiently by focusing on high-risk subnets and avoiding unnecessary monitoring or investigation of low-risk subnets, saving time and resources whilst simultaneously providing better protection against potential threats.

Silent Push provides a fast, simple lookup that allows organizations to ascertain a subnet's reputation score, which can then be used to inform other threat intelligence activities and cyber defense operations.
