ASN reputation scores are a measure of the trustworthiness and reputation of the networks associated with a particular ASN.
Scores are calculated based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to):
- Historical activity associated with the ASN
- The number of IP addresses associated with the ASN that have been used in malicious activity
- The quality of the network's security controls and practices
Security teams can use ASN reputation scores to prioritize their efforts and resources, focusing on IP addresses and domains associated with low-reputation ASNs. By monitoring ASN reputation scores and taking appropriate action to block or monitor traffic associated with low-reputation ASNs, security teams can reduce the risk of attack and protect their organization's network and data.
