With our Pivot Point Control feature users can consistently pivot through IP indicators, domain indicators, and URL indicators, and also view the contextual highlights about an indicator.
From Pivot Point Control, users can:
- Perform a live scan.
- Pivot to perform a full scan.
- Save indicators to feeds or collections.
- Request takedowns from anywhere in the platform.
- Perform web scan queries and DNS queries from an IP indicator, a Domain indicator, or a URL indicator.
The tabs available for a user to interact with will automatically configured depending on what is available for that specific indicator.
Use the following table to understand how to use the tabs in the Pivot Point Control feature:
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Web Scanner | Users can perform a web scanner query on the indicator they selected. Select an operator to leverage into the query. |
| Total View | Users can view the highlights section of Total View. |
| PADNS | Users can perform a forward DNS lookup query or a reverse DNS lookup query to find related infrastructure to the indicator you selected. |
| Live Scan | If available, users can view a live scan of the indicator or pivot to a Full Scan to perform an advanced scan or a dark web scan. |
| Save To | Users can save indicators to a watchlist, a feed, or a collection from this tab. |
| Takedown | Users can submit a takedown request from this tab. |

- Access our standardized Pivot Point Control feature from anywhere in the app; select a domain, an IP, or a URL to use Pivot Point Control.
