Use our WHOIS History feature to view the historical information associated with the owner of a domain.
View WHOIS History
- From the home page, select WHOIS Data, and then select WHOIS History.
- In the Enter Domain box, type a domain.
- In the Collected Before box, select the date you want the record to begin with.
- In the Collected After box, select the date you want the record to stop at.
- Select Search.
Query Results
Use the following table to understand your WHOIS History records:
| Result Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Whois record first created | View the date and time that the WHOIS record was first created. |
| Latest SOA Record | View the most recent version of Start of Authority (SOA) record that is associated with the domain. Note: Select Lookup PADNS to view the PADNS information associated with that SOA Record. |
| Name Server Reputation Scores | View the reputational scores associated with the name server of the domain. |
| WHOIS Changes | View the changes of the WHOIS record that is associated with the domain. For example, change in address or registrar. Date: View the date of the change. Change: Select the filter icon to choose a change to apply as a filter to your results. |
